Getting the Real Synonyms from a Thesaurus

I'm desperately searching for a viable way to retrieve the correct synonym
from a thesaurus. Let me illustrate what I mean now.
The word "field" can refer to many different things such as an open piece
of land, a sphere of influence (such as the field of science and tech) or
some other definition. Knowing the precise definition automatically is
very important for me. See the below image for illustration. The original
sentence is: is a field of computer science I want to be able to search
for synonyms but only for synonyms that match the context of the original
sentence.

So my question is - is there any way to do this?
